To encrypt a file in FILESENDER, check the box labeled "File Encryption"

 

 

If desired, you can ask the system to generate a random password by checking the box labeled "Generate Password". Otherwise, there are guidelines for creating a password. The minimum password length is 14 characters, and for passwords longer than 40 characters, the guidelines are less strict.

 

It is important to note that the password itself should be shared through a different channel than the file.
