• Windows users will download the SID file JMP170_9CWYWR_51700561_Win_X64.txt and Macintosh users will download the SID file JMP170_9CWYWQ_51700562_OSX_X86-64.txt
• Save to a convenient spot.
• Windows users should open JMP by right-clicking on the icon and choosing Run as Administrator.
• Macintosh users should double-click on the JMP icon.

If your JMP license is past your expiration date, the first screen you see at JMP launch is a message that your JMP license is expired.If your JMP license has not expired, you must start the renewal process manually.

1. Click Open License.
2. At the prompt, navigate to where you saved the SID file.
3. Click Open.
4. Enter an Administrator Name and Department if you desire.
5. Click OK.

 

If your JMP license has not expired, you must start the renewal process manually.

a. Enter this line: renew license();

b. From the Edit menu, select Run Script.

c. In the resulting Renew Your JMP License window, click Open License.

d. At the prompt, navigate to where you saved the SID file in Step 1.

e. Click Open.

f. Enter an Administrator Name and Department if you desire.

g. Click OK.
