Administrative staff can now access most managerial systems from home, without the need for local installations or leaving the office computer on.

A new virtual computer service developed in the summer of 2020 - Myplace, includes access to most services that the administrative staff needs.  Before connecting to Myplace, you must connect to the university via Rumba VPN .  Administrative staff our required to authenticate using a password generator, or for those who do not have a password generator, a one-time password delivered via SMS message.

Office365

Office Pro Plus free for faculty at the Hebrew University

The Department of Computation is pleased to announce that under the agreement that the University has signed with Microsoft, the faculty is entitled to receive an installation of Office in employees' homes at no additional charge.

The benefit is personal to an active administrative staff.

Important - Do not install this version on your computer at work. Contact your computer coordinator to upgrade your office and windows versions.

MicroShop

The MicroShop (You can connect to Microshop only via the university's network, or via the Rumba VPN .)
The MicroShop is a virtual store for downloading and purchasing software / and password generators (OTPs) for university (academic and administrative) faculty.

The purchase of the software is done only by charging university budgets, the prices are discounted to the academy and their use is for academic and administrative purposes only.

HujiApp (Download the app on the Apple App Store Google Play)

  • HujiApp is an application for administrative staff and students (an application for cell phones).
  • With this app, administrative employees have access to various personnel data for example - information on the monthly quota in reporting and the balance of additional hours to execute.
  • When you sign in to the app, click on the staff icon at the bottom of the screen
  • The identification is through an 8-digit ID (without the audit digit at the end) and a 4 or 5-digit personal code
  • The Division for Computation supports logging in to this system and if you are unable to log in or alternatively do not know your personal code, please contact us at 02-5883450

 

 

SAP

Most financial activities such as: purchase requirements / orders, report receipt of goods and service, Internal procurement between units ("Form 29"), view up-to-date data on budgets and more are carried out through the portal for researchers and administrative staff at http://sap.huji.ac.il
 The rest of the operations will be performed using a SAP / GUI installed by the Authorized Computing coordinators.
