Deleting files from Google Drive

 

Tools to reduce the storage volume of your Google account

In light of the change in Google's policy towards academic institutions and the storage volume limitation of the institutional Google account to 25 GB, we're organizing here the necessary tools for checking the storage volume of your Google account, reducing the storage volume of the account using two central tools provided by Google and finally deleting the files from your Google Drive and Google Photos.

Deleting files

After using one of Google's tools to reduce the volume of the account and after transferring the contents of the drive and photos to a private Gmail account, you must delete these files and photos and finally check again if the volume has been reduced below 25 GB. It is important to note that you do not immediately see the changes in volume, but only after 24 hours.

You will get a page with all your files arranged by size from biggest to smallest. Choose the files you want to delete. You can choose more then one file by pressing ctrl button.
